Funds under ESEA/ESSA may be used for any activity or expenditure related to communicating with parents regarding their "right to know" and parent involvement activities required by ESEA/ESSA. There is a significant increase in parent communication requirements under ESEA/ESSA and the U.S. Department of Education encourages using federal funds for this purpose. Use funds from your required set-aside for parent involvement under Title I either at the district- or building-level.
